COLOURPOP LIQUID LIPSTICK REVIEW
So I’ve been
in love with the whole liquid lipstick makeup trend, for me it makes wearing
matte lipstick a lot easier and nicer in my option, plus it’s easier to apply
without worrying about lining your lips.
Now to the
review, I purchased two of the colourpop liquid lipsticks in 2 different
shades: avenue and lax a long time ago (over 6 months now) and I must say that
i'm truly enjoying them, most especially LAX because it’s more of my style (dark
lips).
- Packaging: it comes in a clear cylindrical plastic tube so you can clearly see the colour of the lipstick. The colourpop logo is written on the tube (you can’t see the logo from my picture because mine have cleared off)

Avenue: This shade is a really pretty blue
tone red. And generally looks pretty on every skin tone.
LAX: Blackened plum

- Application: it applies smooth and nicely and dries really fast. It doesn’t give streak lines on application. It is easy to work with in terms of defining the shape of your lips with the applicator.
- Longevity: the liquid lipstick lasts for about 6-8 hours without touchup depending on if you eat any oily substance; then in that case it begins to separate at the center but not too much for it to be a nuisance, Just a little touch up and your good to go. It does have a little transference
- My opinion: The colourpop liquid lipsticks are really good. They apply nicely, they are really opaque and for the price point and quality they are very well worth it. They do tend to really dry out the lips so my tip will be to apply so kind of lip balm before application to prevent dried out lips.
